    XHHW-2 direct burial electrical cable
    The insulating materials is XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), is made of PE material through physical or chemical crosslinking method make polymer molecules from the chain into network, called for "superplastic materials". Mainly used in the power supply line of the manufacturing equipment, has good heat resistance, resistance to extrusion and environmental cracking resistance, while such products also have good flame retardant and low smoke halogen free performance.

    Application and description:
    600V MC cable can be installed outdoors, directly buried, laying on metal frame, cable bracket, groove or continuous rigid cable bracket. MC requirements of the UL class, used for the continuous working temperature of the cable conductor is 90 degrees in the wet / dry environment. Used for Grade 1, 2 area, 2 grade, 3 grade, 1 district dangerous places.
     
    Standards and certification:
    UL 44 – thermosetting material insulated wires and cables
    UL 1569 – coated metal cable
    IEEE 1202 – flame test (70000 Btu/hr) installed in cable tray cable in commercial applications
    ICEA T-29-520 –  cable vertical burning flame test s (210000 Btu/hr)
    ICEA S-95-658 (NEMA WC 70) Structural requirements
     
    Cable structure:
    Conductor: compact type concentric stranded copper conductor B class, follow ASTM B3, B8 and ICEA .
    Insulation: flame retardant and moisture resistant crosslinked polyethylene (FRXLPE).
    Grounding: concentric stranded copper conductor compact type B, followed by ASTM B3, B8
    Form of cabling: filled with insulation between the conductors, the gap add the ground wire, and then  adhesive tape around the package.
    Armour: lap type aluminium armour
    Sheath: flame retardant, resistant to daylight PVC (CPE/LSOH material optional)
    Color: black, other colors available.
