  • Three single core wire strand, sheath and package, is the three core cable.
    Three core wire is generally used to connect the single-phase electric.
     
    Three phase is not the use of the three core cable. Need three phase four wire, or three phase five wire. It is often said 3 1 or 3 2.
    For example: VV 3*4 1*2.5 or VV 3*4 2*2.5.
    3 1 cable is the three phase line, a zero line.
    3 2 cable is the three phase line, a zero line, a ground wire.
     
    -> 3 core armoured cable:
    Three core steel wire armored cable include three metal conductors, and various metal conductor is wrapped with conductor shielding layer, outer conductor shielding layer coated with an insulating layer, insulating layer is coated with an insulating shielding layer, insulating shielding layer is coated with  steel wire shielding layer, steel wire shielding layer peripherals have no spinning cloth layer, non-woven fabric layer is arranged outside the inner sheath layer, jacket layer peripherals have outer sheath, sheath layer and the outer sheath layer between a steel tape armored. The cable is suitable for the case of rated voltage of 3.6/6kV – 26/35kV, can prevent the damage of animals and plants and enhance the wear resistance, large insulation reliability, good flame retardant effect, used for indoor, tunnel, cable trench and other places to withstand mechanical forces.

    -> IEC 60502 3 core armoured cable structure:

    Conductor: plain annealed copper or aluminum conductor, with IEC 60228 (1 class and 2 class).
     
    Conductor shield: conductor shielding should be non metallic, and should include semi conductive compound, semiconductor band used in the top of the semiconductor complex. The conductor shielding layer is applied to the three important extrusion process in the outer and the insulation shield. The conductor shielding layer is made of non metallic layer, and the semi conductive compound must be firmly adhered to the insulation, and all gaps are eliminated. Conductor shielding layer for 1.8/3KV – 3.6/6KV PVC, EPR/HEPR insulated cable is not necessary.
     
    Insulation: 1.8/3KV and 3.6/6KV cable generally use PVC insulation, can also  use EPR/HEPR, XLPE insulation.
