Power cables are mainly used for power transmission and distribution purpose. It is an assembly of one or more individually insulated electrical conductors, usually held together with an overall sheath. The assembly is used for transmission and distribution of electrical power. Electrical power cables may be installed as permanent wiring within buildings, buried in the ground and run overhead or exposed.……Including: rubber cable, welding cable, URD cable, XLPE insulated power calbe etc.
Bare Overhead Conductors are used in overhead transmission and distribution network applications. They are also used for un-insulated hook ups, jumpers, grounding conductors and other applications. Our Conductors conform to ASTM, IEC, BS, BS EN and DIN standards.…… Including: AAC conductor, AAAC conductor, ACSR conductor, ACAR conductor, AACSR conductor, etc.
Aerial bundled cables (also aerial bundled conductors or simply ABC) are overhead power lines using several insulated phase conductors bundled tightly together, usually with a bare neutral conductor. Our abc calbe conform to ASTM, IEC, SANS standards.……Including: abc cables, cvered line wire, service drop wire etc.
What is xlpe wire?
XLPE wire(Crosslinked polyethylene wire):
(1) excellent mechanical and physical properties, environmental stress cracking performance is good, have excellent wear resistance, compared with PVC and PE, can bear the mechanical stress concentration.
(2) resistance to various chemical solvents, in a variety of corrosive medium around relatively stable.
(3) the outer diameter of the cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire is smaller than PVC insulated wire diameter with the same size, which in the construction can reduce the pipe diameter, or under the same pipe diameter, install more wires, reduce construction installation cost.
(4) the weight of the cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire products is less than PVC insulated wire products, which is more convenient for installation and transportation, lower labor intensity and lower transportation cost.
(5) the maximum rated temperature of the cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire for a long period is 90℃, and the maximum temperature of the wire conductor is 250℃, which is higher than PVC insulated wire.
(6) no corrosive gas or poisonous gas is released when it is burning, and it will not produce twice hazard, which is in line with the requirements of modern fire safety.
(7) good electrical properties, insulation resistance is much higher than PVC wire (cable) and dielectric loss angle tangent value tanδ is very small, basically does not change with temperature change.
What is the bending radius of XLPE cable? Conventional wire and cable standards:
1, working temperature: the highest rated working temperature of cable conductor is 90℃.
2, overload temperature: the maximum temperature of cable overload is not more than 130℃.
3, the short circuit temperature: the cable short circuit, the maximum temperature should not exceed 250℃. (not more than 5 seconds).
4, laying temperature: cable laying temperature is not less than 0℃. To be heated in advance when laying under 0℃.
5, bending radius:
Single core cable allows bending radius: 20 times (the actual outer diameter of the cable cable conductor actual diameter) ±5%.
Multi core cable allows bending radius: 15 times (the actual outer diameter of cable cable conductor actual diameter) ± 5%.
